Most sessions for toddlers and newborns take between 1-3 hours, but there is no set time limit.  I understand that feedings and snack breaks can be necessary for everyone involved!  My goal is to capture your child in his/her natural surroundings and make the session as easy for the parent(s) as possible.  Hopefully it will even be a little fun.

If you are currently pregnant, please contact me as soon as possible.  My calendar tends to fill up at least two to three months in advance.  We can always adjust the date once your little one arrives.

It is my duty as your photographer to select and create the highest quality photos for you and your family.  I will be taking many photos during our time together.  Following your session, I will go through the images, selecting the best from the session to polish(edit) and deliver to you as a finished piece of art.  Your edited images will be sent to you for viewing and downloading approximately two weeks following your session.

Clothing Suggestions

Simple is best.  Solid colors come out nicely in the images, but everyone getting photographed should not match perfectly.  

For newborns, bare skin photos are preferred, but onesies, diaper covers and other clothing and accessories make for great images as well.  

Gather accessories that you love and we can sort through them together.

Photos will be posted to Facebook only at the request of the parents.  It is entirely your decision if you want your pictures to appear on the Facebook page. 

** A side note on safety concerns that have penetrated the industry recently:  Be certain when hiring a photographer that they take all necessary precautions to ensure baby's safety.  During my sessions, the parents are always right next to the baby.  In situations like the photo with the baby on the back of the dog, mom's hand never left the baby's back, and the father was just outside of the camera's view, in charge of the 250 lb Mastiff.  Parent's hands on the babies in that and numerous other photos are  removed from the images during post-processing.  The safety of your child is more important than an impressive photograph.
